ALSO, OUR MIDDLE SCHOOL TOOK FIRST PLACE IN THE STATE MOCK TRIAL IN SLC TODAY!! This is something these kids will excel at in the next couple of years! What an opportunity!
This morning we learned Austin, Texas, and Memphis, Tennessee. We have just three cities left to locate.
In vocabulary we wrote a rebus and word webs. In grammar we reviewed Objective and Subjective case pronouns. After spelling we worked hard on our 3-point essays. A few students are finished and using time for teacher interviews, which will be the topic of our next 3-point essays. LANGUAGE ARTS TEST TOMORROW MORNING.
MATH HOMEWORK IS EXERCISES 5-7. We learned what symmetry and line of symmetry are. We created our own symmetrical objects and worked further on tesselation centers.
After lunch and Foreign Language we learned about Mother Teresa - Nobel Peace Prize recipient of 1979. We discussed putting first things first. Then the students were introduced to an emotional bank account. 14 praises for every negative.
Skiing/ puppet work, and minicourses.
