THERE WILL BE TALENT SHOW AUDITIONS TUESDAYS AND FRIDAYS AFTER SCHOOL. TALENT SHOWS WILL BE HELD MONTHLY.

This morning we learned about many famous people through biography book reports. We took our Language Arts test, had a Spirit Day assembly, and finished Jonathon Livingston Seagull. Business letters were handed in and look very professional. SOME STUDENTS STILL HAVE A THREE POINT PARAGRAPH TO HAND IN FROM LAST WEEK.
MATH HOMEWORK IS EXERCISES 4 & 5. It is very important to line up decimals when adding or subtracting. We also went over the Cum. Test 1-6. PLEASE HAVE YOUR CHILD REDO ANY MISSED PROBLEMS, SIGN YOUR NAME TO THE TEST, AND SEND IT BACK TO ME ON MONDAY.
After lunch we had Cultural Roundtable. Then the 5th Graders went to Art and the 4th Graders learned some poetry, watched a science movie about electricity, and destroyed a set of headphones to see how they had been constructed.
We had a wonderful recess outside. It was warm enough for just a t-shirt!
Students received a Mountains Fact Sheet to review. We highlighted the mountains and ranges that will be on the test. THERE WILL BE A TEST ON MOUNTAINS AND MOUNTAIN RANGES OF THE USA NEXT FRIDAY.
We worked more on puppets, cleaned up, and went to music.
