This morning we simulated a spelling bee. Students have the opportunity to compete in Meridian's Spelling Bee on Thursday. Sign-up sheets are in our room.
After vocabulary and the idiom "Sit on the Fence", we read more of Crispin. Students learned of his relationship to Lord Furnival. We are still working on senses strategies. READING IS JUST NON-FICTION.
MATH HOMEWORK WAS EXERCISE 6 AND A WORKSHEET. Today we learned the purpose of line graphs and reviewed probability terms. Students made line and bar graphs of their own skittles packet! Many students have taken the opportunity to raise their math grades. The deadline for this term is Friday.
Students have finished their teacher interviews. They organized their information to prepare to write an essay on the teacher. We had a lesson about feeding the audience meat, rather than bare bone information.
The art assembly for the Arbor Day posters was this afternoon. Kudos to the winners!
